Hailing from Washington, DC, by way of NYC, Jordan King is an independent Hip-Hop/Alt-R&B artist who’s sound naturally embodies the signature DC bounce & NYC’s hustler’s spirit. Pooling from influences like Rapsody & Anderson .Paak to Janelle Monae & Erykah Badu, King is the sonic manifestation of self-motivation, perseverance, love, and hustle! Uniquely meshing her lyricism in rap & song, she’s coined her sound as “Inspiration Trap”. This songstress & emcee also tours internationally with super group, O’Sisters. When she’s not in France performing in at least 3 different languages, you can find her in the heart of NYC, where she is boldly staking her claim to fame with a reputation of striking, high-energy live performances with her band, The Hustlers. Jordan is currently recording her debut EP, and anticipates its release in 2020.
